Playing table tennis has great health benefits for seniors and is a great way to stimulate the brain, encourage quick thinking and improve hand-eye coordination. Table tennis is a low-injury sport that keeps you fit and flexible and improves your reflexes. It's a great way to build strength in your legs, arms, and torso without putting stress on your joints. Playing table tennis increases mobility and flexibility, and especially reaction time.
Our ping pong table is in the common room intermediate incomeand is open to all campus residents. We have a group of regular players but would love to see more people join in and see the potential health benefits that table tennis can bring to seniors. You don't need any special skills, just a willingness and interest in having fun!
